I appreciate your writing and commenting. Actually what you are questioning in this quote is a take off of Wayne Dyer's quote and message from the Movie Ambition to Meaning (now called The Shift) as he says something similar if you remember when he speaks about his experience with carrying that man up the stairs and the healing he received with his knee that day. Although I too understand what you wrote in response and I agree with you which is why in Song of the Princess I wrote this "To give such a gift that pours through and to see its expression shine the light of love into the universe is the reason the Master Artist give us such gifts. Music is the embodiment in heart, soul, and physical form of the heartbeat of Source energy making love to itself. To give such a gift of music is to live and BE what is given in every sense of the word. For one cannot give what one is free from being themselves. Music is the river of Love in which we drink from that infinitely replenishes us in being this living and BEing expression of the Master Artist, giving to our soul first, filling us until our cup runneth over and in that we in turn may give to others being continuously and infinitely replenished with the harmony and melody of life." and this as well "...I have come to understand that I am to Love my soul completely and fully first and then my cup runneth over. It is then that I give to another in Love and in doing such I am infinitely replenished from that same Source of Love..." As always infinite Love dearest Dale ~Nenari

I read and enjoyed it, I like the flow and I like the message, although I question this line.
"When you want more for another than you do for yourself
That is god realization"
Only to the degree that we know for ourselves, love ourselves, can we extend that love and knowing to another.
That is why the great masters have always advocated, "Know Thyself."
